From chronic hand pain (2018-2024) that resisted physical therapy, strengthening exercises, and massage—to even considering surgery. A broken heart and massive disillusionment with modernity in 2022 left me alone, without a home, reeling from separation from both an 11-year relationship and a 13-year professional path.

This was when I began listening to the whispers of my soul (by force, it felt like).

Uprooted, without a new job lined up and home indeterminate, I wandered. I went toward friendship and learned how to make decisions by myself, for myself. I lived in places I never dreamed I’d have the chance to visit. The world opened up for me to tread carefully and lightly, to seek welcome, follow invitation, and to offer.

Through the pain of heartache, I was called to receive rainforest medicine from the healers of an indigenous community under a sky full of stars. The medicine altered my understanding of the pain in my arms and hands. I now felt it as an urgent call to let, to practice, to open to the flow that activated with my compassion for other’s suffering.

Usui Reiki II attunement received from Master Nancy Dressler. Lifelong student & practitioner of many spiritual paths: Thai Dhammakaya Meditation; Mevlevi Sufi path—pilgrim to Konya; Amazonian plant healing and singing traditions; Hindi and Buddhist mantra recitation; Tibetan Yoga; Trinidad Orisha.

Now opening my practice to my new neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York—the place I now call home, the original and rightful home of the Canarsie and Marechkawieck of the Lenape peoples. It is my intention to bring the restful healing of the night sky to those who are ailing and receptive to energy healing.
